A white screen, a critical error message, a locked admin or a site that broke the moment you clicked update: when WordPress fails, every hour can cost enquiries or sales. Javedify offers WordPress emergency support from Mumbai: we take a backup, find the cause, fix it safely and tell you what happened. We work remotely and during our stated working hours, and we do not claim round-the-clock cover.

Most WordPress emergencies fall into a handful of patterns. An update to a plugin, theme, WordPress itself or PHP changed something and the site stopped working. A plugin and a theme disagree. The hosting ran out of memory or disk space. The database stopped responding. Or someone got in and altered the site.
The pressure to fix it quickly is real, and it is also how second problems are created. Restoring the wrong backup, deleting a plugin folder blindly or reinstalling WordPress can turn a repairable fault into data loss.
Our approach is deliberately calm: protect what exists, find the actual cause, make the smallest safe change and write down what we did.
The blank page or 'There has been a critical error on this website' message, usually caused by a plugin, theme or PHP problem.
A plugin, theme or WordPress update that changed layouts, broke forms or took the site down.
Lost passwords, redirect loops, blocked logins or a missing admin user.
The 'Error establishing a database connection' message and related database faults.
Internal server errors, memory limits, broken .htaccess files and slow or failing hosting.
Spam links, unknown admin users, redirects to other sites and security warnings, with cleanup and hardening.
Payment, cart or order problems on a live store, where every minute costs sales.
A site that stays on a maintenance message after an interrupted update.
Do not keep clicking update or reinstalling things. Note exactly what you did just before it broke, and any error text on the screen. If you have a backup from your host or a backup plugin, do not restore it yet; restoring can erase recent orders or posts. Check whether your host's control panel shows an alert or resource problem. Then contact us with those details and your hosting information.
We start with a backup of the files and the database in their current state, even when the site is broken. Then we read the error logs, turn on debugging on a safe copy where possible, and test by disabling plugins and switching to a default theme to isolate the cause. We make one change at a time and test after each.
This is slower than guessing, but it avoids the cascade of new problems that quick fixes cause.
If an update broke the site, we find out why: an old plugin that does not support the new PHP version, a theme that needs updating or two plugins clashing. Sometimes the right fix is to roll back, sometimes to replace a plugin and sometimes to correct a few lines of code. We explain which and why, so the problem does not return next month.
If the cause is a hack, the work is wider: removing malicious code, closing the entry point, changing credentials, updating everything and checking for a security warning from Google. See our malware removal page for the full process. We also tell you honestly if the damage means a clean rebuild would be safer than a repair.
A way to reach the files and database, such as hosting access or SFTP and a WordPress admin login if you have one, a description of what changed and when, and a contact who can approve urgent decisions. We recommend sharing access in a way you can revoke afterwards.
We work from India Standard Time. For clients in the UK and US, that means we overlap with part of your day and may be unreachable at other hours. We confirm availability and an estimated start time before taking the job, and we do not promise a fixed response time that we cannot guarantee.
After the fix, we recommend a short list: automatic off-site backups, updates tested on a staging copy first, a leaner plugin set, uptime monitoring and a recent PHP version. For ongoing care, see our website maintenance plans.
Tell us about your business and we will suggest the right approach and a clear quote. No obligation.
We quote after a quick look at the problem, since a stuck maintenance message and a hacked site are very different jobs. The main factors are:
